Evangelist Lutrica Gethers is a graduate of Benedict College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She also graduated from Manhattan Bible Institute with Certificate in General Bible 1 and 2.
She has worked in various capacities in the local church and on a district level; Instructor for the Eastern District Institute, Sunday School teacher and Superintendent, Youth Department Coordinator, and Church Financial Secretary.
Within the community, she works with a ministry that feeds the homeless and veterans every first Saturday. She currently works with a senior’s group as Coordinator of the Pineville Community Circle Senior Prayer Ministry. Evangelist Gethers has been involved in some form of ministry all her life. Her focus has been Youth and Women’s Ministry.
Evangelist Gethers is the wife of Elder Wilbur Gethers, and they are the proud parents of three adult children, Teresa, Tyler, and Titus Gethers, and three grandchildren. She enjoys the Word and good firm teaching and one of her favorite scripture is (Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangle again with the yoke of bondage).
